This notice explains how we obtain, use and disclose your personal information, in accordance with the requirements of the Law on the Protection of Personal Data ('the Data Protection Law') issued under Resolution No. 151 of 2020.

1. Privacy

Thanks for visiting Adagin Technologies Holdings BV (Netherlands) and Adagin Operations BV (Netherlands) and reviewing our privacy policy. Our privacy policy is plain and simple. We don't collect personal information like names and/or addresses when you visit our website, unless you choose to provide this information to us. In such case, it will only be used to fulfil the service you requested. (See: Personal Data. 2.1.2)

We will only collect personal information about you to the extent that such information really is necessary for the commercial purposes we agree to, and we will always process your personal information in a fair, lawful and transparent manner.  Should your personal information as we may process and store it  be outdated, please supply us with the latest data. We will retain your profile as necessary for the effective delivery of the services we have agreed to deliver to you.  Should we not retain you as a client or should you not be an individual of commercial interest to us, we will safely destroy your profile and the personal information about that profile. 

We use leading technologies to safeguard your data, and we keep strict security standards to prevent any unauthorized access to it.

We collect some technical information when you visit to make your visit seamless. This information is only used to help us make the site, more useful for you. We are performing information statistics regarding the website access style, to gain more knowledge about the traffic distribution and frequently used services. Adagin Technologies will only directly market to you with your consent and within the prescribed legal framework.

The data is used by Adagin Technologies website software team, and by staff involved in the management of the Adagin Technologies website, only for:

At Adagin Technologies we are committed to protecting your privacy and to ensure that your personal information is collected and used properly, lawfully and transparently.

We collect and process your personal information mainly to contact you for the purposes of understanding your business requirements, and delivering services accordingly.  For this purpose, we will collect contact details including your name and organisation.

We collect information directly from you where you provide us with your personal details.  Where possible, we will inform you what information you are required to provide to us and what information is optional.

Website usage information may be collected using “cookies” which allows us to collect standard internet visitor usage information.  Our cookie policy offers you a choice to proceed or to avoid exposure so caused.

Please note that any such access request may be subject to a payment of a legally allowable fee.

You have the right to ask us to update, correct or delete your personal information. We will require proof of identity in a legally accepted format to confirm your identity before making changes to personal information we may hold about you. We would appreciate it if you would keep your personal information accurate.

 

Definition of personal information

 

According to the Act ‘‘personal information’’ means information relating to an identifiable, living, natural person, and where it is applicable, an identifiable, existing juristic person.  Further to the POPI Act, Adagin Technologies also includes the following items as personal information:

  1. All addresses including residential, postal and email addresses.
  2. Change of name – for which we require copies of the marriage certificate or official change of name document issued by the state department.
